Concrete Cowboys Inc was founded in August of 2003 by Mac McCrory and Lance White, two friends who after years of working in various trades together moved their families to the Florida panhandle to go into business for themselves. Mac McCrory grew up in Pace, FL and even after moving away his love for the emerald coast never faded. During a period of living in Orlando, FL Mac opened his first business, a screen enclosure repair company. It was there his entrepreneurial skills were first crafted. While in Orlando Mac had met Lance White. Lance was a veteran of concrete construction, working first at a concrete pre-cast plant and then at a central Florida school district in the maintenance department as a concrete finisher. While assisting another contractor friend on a jobsite, the two friends were first introduced to decorative concrete. Combining their separate experiences and skill sets a business idea was formed. After exhaustive research, seminars and classes (and some encouraging words from family and friends) the Concrete Cowboys were born. With young families at home Mac and Lance decided that central Florida wasn’t a good fit for their new endeavor, so when Mac suggested they move their families to his childhood home on the gulf coast, everything fell into place. Fast forward to today and the Concrete Cowboys continue to press on. Tough times, hurricanes, oil spills and recessions have been no match for faith, hard work and a fantastic client base; many of whom have become repeat customer and friends.
