Mac McCrory was locally born and raised in Pace, Fl. and is the proud owner/founder of Concrete Cowboys, Inc which was established in August of 2003. In his early twenties (in true prodigal son fashion) he moved away to Orlando, Fl to tackle new adventures. While living in Orlando, Mac began crafting his entrepreneurial skill set. He opened and ran a successful screen enclosure repair business and began to build rewarding relationships with successful contractors across many fields of trades. Decorative Concrete caught his attention as Mac was intrigued by the process. This led him into exhaustive research, classes, seminars and many meetings with other contractors in this artistic, yet physical industry.  If he was going to tackle a new endeavor and possible future career, he was going to do it right and with integrity.  

With all the new pieces in place, he only needed to find the right location. His heart always belonged to the emerald coast, so the prodigal son returned back to his home town with a new business plan in hand, an extremely supportive wife he'd met in Orlando and their baby daughter. It was time to start his new adventure…

Fast forward to 2025. We are honored to say that The Concrete Cowboys have been in the Pensacola area for 22 years now! Despite tough times, hurricanes, oil spills and recessions they continue to press on and remain successful, thanks to our wonderful community and amazing “word of mouth” advertisement.  Believing that if you have faith, work hard, and build a fantastic client base on a foundation of honesty, you can't help but succeed. Mac still lives, works and worships just miles down the road from the house he grew up in. His daughter attends college and his wife is the owner of a local business herself.

Why is this history lesson important to us? Why does it matter to our clients? Because we know that we aren’t any different than the people we serve. We’re just hardworking guys who know that their customers work just as hard for their money as we do. We know that sticking to a schedule, showing up on time, and staying on budget are a big deal.
